Vestian landscape, overlooking the Palma Valley...so named for the flourishing vegetation (i.e. palm trees) fed by the forking waters of the lazy Gold River and the Nan Kan Da Shu. This is the site of the capital city, also called Palma. Eloise, naturally, has her home in the capital. Arrio is from Palatina, one of the rural suburbs that go sprawling out to the edges of the valley, where craggy mountains separate it from the wide stretches of sandy desert that cover most of the country.
