The Gang

Forgive the lousy drawing; it was done more quickly than it deserved. Arrio had a little gang in prison. These are his core homeboys. From left to right:

Shad Amédée. ID #01182414. Thief, nogoodnik, teller of raunchy jokes, hedonist, fatalist.

Samnang Adam. ID #01202604. Giant. Former prizefighter, until a leg injury made him unable to compete. Blind in left eye. Very slow in the head.

Vincent Arrio. ID #02011527. Our kinda-sorta-hero. Desesperado who knows what's good for him but lets his mouth run anyway. Leader of this pack of miscreants. For a while.

Wen Charbonneau. ID #01101115. Tiny, spiteful, mistrustful guy from the school of hard knocks. Arrio's right-hand hombre.

Jabriel Bellerose. ID #1191401. Would-be political revolutionary, and eye candy for the ladies. Quotes Marx' Communist Manifesto in almost every breath, but is a hypocrite when push comes to shove.

Emeric Susila. ID #02200211. Not really part of Arrio's gang, or anyone's, but no one will mess with him. A non-smoker, he gets a newspaper every day, instead, being actually able to read. He reads his paper out loud to everyone else, and thus is considered absolutely invaluable, and under everyone's protection. Besides these readings, he's extremely quiet, polite, and well-behaved. It's a shame he killed his entire family with sheep shears.
