I was asked by the Tucson Jazz Society to do musician portraits for their 2008 Summer concert season. I had two sets and an intermission to do this painting of the band while they performed live on stage. At the end of the show, the piece was raffled off to a lucky jazz aficionado, with autographs by as many of the band members as could be snagged before they ran off to the bar.
