Dogbreath
Usually, my watercolors start out like this, with lines lightly painted in over a pencil sketch. (Then the graphite erased for a cleaner look to the final thing.) Sometimes I have all the different parts in different colors (darker variants of what the "natural" color is for that section) and sometimes not. Here, I decided to go all in indigo blue. It's a color that bleeds a lot, but it's really light, here, so there probably won't be too much of that. (Maybe just enough to make it a little rough n' dirty looking.) Just concerned with lining shapes, now. Things that are more texture elements, like the hair on his arms, or his freckles, will go on later. The scars are already lined in because they're lighter in color than the rest of his skin, and because most of them are raised up off the surface, ya dig?
