Ganny was a demigod prince of Troy, the son of Tros and the nymph Kallirhoe. Then Zeus saw him and turned into an eagle to kidnap him away to Olympus. He was deified as the bartender and one-man waitstaff of the gods, general manservant, and Zeus' barely-legal boytoy. He also works for Aphrodite as god of homosexual romance, and the pinned-on wings are to fit in with the other Erotes (gods of various kinds and aspects of love.)
...Of course he's a walking stereotype. =P
